Program Description:
London Center: MFA Artist in Residence

This program is for select MFA students in the College of Visual and Performing Arts who have special permission from the Dean to apply. This is a third year professionalization and career development experience. Students will have resources and opportunities to further their art as working artists. You will be expected to learn about the art scene, participate in it in some way, develop connections, and host/organize an exhibition or two. You will enrolled in an online course taught from the campus called “Practicing in the Public.”

  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Not open to visiting students
  • Credit hours: 9 credits
Housing

Participating students will live on their own in London. SU Abroad will provide students space with a computer and equipment. You will also have access to all-school field trips offered by the SU London Center.

Program Cost

The cost of the Artist in Residence program includes SU tuition and a program fee. Financial aid is available.
